Since its creation in 1948, TATI has invented everything, or close to it: rock-bottom prices, self-service, rummage retail bins, partnerships with famous designers… After a transitional period, TATI is now back on the scene. In the past few years, the brand has completely overhauled the way it operates, sells and manufactures. It has reinvented its model to become once again a vibrant, festive, carefree brand for the entire family.
At TATI, you can now find much more than just women’s fashion. For the last four years, the brand has been offering something for everyone in the family, and has considerably expanded its range of products.
More important than ever within the new TATI model, the stores now reflect the innovative brand concept: uniting fashion, bridal, beauty, linens, decoration and accessories in one single, trendy site.
TATI has got its past popularity back by modernizing its old well-used strategies. This is why the brand has decided on a relaunch of its famous slogan invented in 1993 by Andrée Putman: “We Own the Street”.
Of the 140 French stores, 60 have been fully renovated with a more modern, more elegant look. The famous rummage retail bins have given way to more attractive merchandising: beauty and hygiene displays, shelves, “major brand” themed aisles… TATI customers see these store renovations as a sign that the company has rejuvenated itself, and this is having a positive effect, seen as a net increase in sales volume.
