Simon Marshall Alhokair Fashion Retail

Simon Marshall Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Simon Marshall joined Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail in 2007, in the role of Sales Director. Shortly after his arrival Simon was appointed to Chief Executive Officer responsible for the operational and strategic running of the business. Prior to joining Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail, Simon held a number of executive positions within major corporations including Phones4U, GMAC and Kwik-Fit. Simon has an NEBS Degree in Business. Aside from his strategic role, Simon retains day-to-day involvement in developing both prospective and existing client business relationships.

Mohammed Masoud Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Mohammed joined the Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail team in 2010 in the position of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to working for Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail, he performed the role of Chief Financial Officer for the NCR Corporation - Middle East and Asia.

Shaun Kriel Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Shaun has worked for Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail for the past eight years. During his retail career, Shaun has developed a unique set of skills and experience covering various elements of operational retail and become a well respected specialist in the fields of Product Buying, Planning and Brand implementation. This combined with an extensive knowledge of the Saudi customers needs and shopping patterns makes Shaun an instrumental part of the Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail management team.

Jamil Karmoul Vice President of Development

Jamil is the Vice President of Development for Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail, responsible for all facets of support to the Sales Operation function including Supply Chain, Loss Prevention, Store Construction & Maintenance and Store Support. He is a seasoned professional with Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail having been with the business for twelve years and has throughout played a key part in constructing the Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail business that exists today.

Dr. Yassine Sibari Executive General Director of Zara and Inditex

Dr. Yassine displays an impressive academic background including a Doctorate in Linguistics, a Masters Degree in Business Administration (International Commerce) and a Bachelors Degree in Spanish Philology. He was Area Manager for Zara in Inditex Head Quarters in Spain from 1998 to 2007 before moving to become the General Director for Inditex and Zara in 2007. Yassine is responsible for the entire management of Inditex brands; his product knowledge and understanding of the fashion retail market has been key in making the company partnership with Inditex so successful.

David Foster Chief Information Officer (CIO)

David Foster joined Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail in March 2012 as Chief Information Officer having spent over 30 years in various senior implementation and sales roles in IT covering a number of industries including retail, supply chain and manufacturing. David Foster, before joining Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail, held various senior roles of commercial director, sales director, professional services director.

Alsharif Abdallah Alluhaymaq Allbarakati Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Alsharif Abdallah Alluhaymaq Allbarakati joined Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail in June 2012 as Director of Marketing and Communication bringing 2 decades of marketing, communication and advertising expertise to this post. Holding key positions within marketing and advertising within the Middle East. Alsharif Abdallah held the position of Zone Director of marketing and communications for McDonald’s Middle East Development Company responsible for the Middle East and Africa zone (16 Markets). Prior to this, Alsharif Abdallah was the Group Account Director for McCann Erickson - Fortune Promoseven and headed the regional agency team responsible for the McDonald’s account across 10 markets in the region.

Ayyaz Khan Director of Special Projects

Ayyaz Khan joined Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail in 2008 as the Business Unit Manager for New Brands. He also served as the Sales Controller for the Central Region before moving into the role of Company Special Projects Director working directly for the Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail CEO, Simon Marshall. Prior to this, Ayyaz worked for the Phones4U Group, performing a variety of management roles within the sales divisions. Ayyaz is responsible for company projects, business development of new countries and client relationship management for the business.

Jamil Asmari Director of Human Resources

Jamil is a Saudi National and has been working at Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail for more than seven years. His appointment as the HR Director back in 2008 brings local experience and leadership to the HR Department. He is responsible for all aspects of HR, both locally and internationally.

Mark Bain

Mark Bain Retail Sales Director

Mark is a seasoned Retail Sales Director with many years experience within Sales and Operations. Mark started his career within the telecommunications industry where he spent a very successful 17 years. He has since held a number of senior roles within well known companies such as WeBuyAnyCar.com, HSS Tool Hire and Euro Car Parts. Mark believes “you get the team you deserve”. A true motivational and performance focused leader.

Mark is an essential part of Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail with the responsibility for Sales and Operations within KSA.

Morgan Mead Continuous Improvement Director

Morgan has been with Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail for four years working on key integration and business improvement projects. He is now responsible for all facets of the IT operation including the deployment of the Oracle Retail suite throughout the business. Prior to joining Al Hokair he worked for nine years in Project Management, Business Analysis and Change Management in the UK and internationally for GMAC.

Brendan Dorrian Head Of Business Development

Brendan Dorrian performs the role of Personal Envoy to the Chairman and Head of Business Development, a position he assumed in 2011. Brendan is responsible both for developing new business opportunities and for acting on behalf of the Chairman. Prior to joining the company, Brendan most recently served as CEO of Global Retail Network in 2007. Brendan began his retailing career as an executive trainee at Woolworth’s, UK, in 1980. Starting as a trainee manager, he held positions of increasing responsibility to become the company’s youngest store manager. In 1990, Brendan was appointed area manager of Burton Menswear in the UK. Three years later, he became store development director with British Shoe Corporation. Subsequent to this he joined British Airport Authority, World Duty Free, and held a series of consulting roles prior to joining Global Retail Network.
