Sheikh Fawaz Al Hokair – Chairman of Fawaz Alhokair & Co.

Mr. Fawaz Alhokair is the Chairman of the Fawaz Alhokair Group. He graduated from Loughborough University in the United Kingdom with a Degree in Economics & Accountancy. His vision and business strategies have helped to grow retail franchising within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Supported by a team of seasoned professionals, he continues to chart success by introducing the latest international concepts, steering business strategy and enabling growth. Mr. Fawaz Alhokair founded the Fawaz Alhokair Group of Companies in 1989.

Dr Abdulmajeed Al Hokair – President of Retail

Dr. Abdul Majeed Alhokair is a member of the Board of Directors of Fawaz Alhokair Group. Dr. Abdul Majeed is a graduate of the King Saud University and has a hands-on approach to running the largest growing network of stores and international portfolio of brands within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He received the prestigious Saudi Public Company (SPS) award as the "Executive of the Year – 2007" recognizing him as a Saudi Arabian business professional leading a major publicly listed company and for achieving and demonstrating outstanding management excellence.

Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail has attracted a core team with outstanding experience and skills in the business of Fashion Retail:

Simon Marshall – Chief Executive Officer

Simon Marshall joined Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail in 2007, in the role of Sales Director. Shortly after his arrival Simon was appointed to Chief Executive Officer responsible for the operational and strategic running of the business. Prior to joining to Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail, Simon held a number of executive positions within major corporations including Phones4U, GMAC and Kwik-Fit. Simon has an NEBS Degree in Business. Aside from his strategic role, Simon retains day-to-day involvement in developing both prospective and existing client business relationships.

Shaun Kriel – Chief Merchandising Officer

Shaun has worked for Fashion Retail for the past eight years. During his retail career, Shaun has developed a unique set of skills and experience covering various elements of operational retail and become a well respected specialist in the fields of Product Buying, Planning and Brand implementation. This combined with an extensive knowledge of the Saudi customers needs and shopping patterns makes Shaun an instrumental part of the Fashion Retail management team.

Mohammed Masoud – Chief Financial Officer

Mohammed joined the Fashion Retail team in 2010 in the position of Chief Financial Officer. Prior to working for Alhokair, he performed the role of Chief Financial Officer for the NCR Corporation - Middle East and Asia.

Jamil Karmoul – Chief Operating Officer

Jamil is the Chief Operating Officer for Fashion Retail, responsible for all facets of support to the Sales Operation function including Supply Chain, Loss Prevention, Store Construction & Maintenance and Store Support. He is a seasoned professional with Fawaz Alhokair having been with the business for twelve years and has throughout played a key part in constructing the Fashion Retail business that exists today.

Chris Phokeerdoss – Retail Director

Chris Peter Phokeerdoss joined Fashion Retail during November 2008 in the position of General Manager for Nokia. Chris transferred into the role of Regional Sales Controller for the Western Region before he was appointed to his current position of Retail Director, following a very successful period. Chris previously worked for the Phones4U Group as an Associate Sales Director.

Yassine Sibari – Executive General Director

Yassine displays an impressive academic background including a Doctorate in Linguistics, a Masters Degree in Business Administration (International Commerce) and a Bachelors Degree in Spanish Philology. He was Area Manager for the Inditex Brand within Fashion Retail from 1998 to 2007 before moving to become the General Manager for Inditex and Zara in 2007. Yassine is responsible for the management of 7 Inditex brands; his product knowledge and understanding of the fashion retail market has been key in making the company partnership with Inditex so successful.

Jamil Asmari – HR Director

Jamil is a Saudi National and has been working with Fawaz Alhokair for more than seven years. His appointment as the HR Director back in 2008 brings local experience and leadership to the HR Department. He is responsible for all aspects of HR, both locally and internationally.

Morgan Mead – IT Director

Morgan has been with Fashion Retail for four years working on key integration and business improvement projects. He is now responsible for all facets of the IT operation including the deployment of the Oracle Retail suite throughout the business. Prior to joining Al Hokair he worked for nine years in Project Management, Business Analysis and Change Management in the UK and internationally for GMAC.

Ayyaz Khan – Company Projects Director

Ayyaz Khan joined Fashion Retail in 2008 as the Business Unit Manager for New Brands. He also served as the Sales Controller for the Central Region before moving into the role of Company Special Projects Director working directly for the Fashion Retail CEO. Prior to this, Ayyaz worked for the Phones4U Group, performing a variety of management roles within the sales divisions. Ayyaz is responsible for company projects, business development of new countries and client relationship management for the business.

Brendan Dorrian - Personal Envoy to the Chairman and Head of Business Development

Brendan Dorrian performs the role of Personal Envoy to the Chairman and Head of Business Development, a position he assumed in 2011. Dorrian is responsible both for developing new business opportunities and for acting on behalf of the Chairman. Prior to joining the company, Dorrian most recently served as CEO of Global Retail Network in 2007. Dorrian began his retailing career as an executive trainee at Woolworth's, UK, in 1980. Starting as a trainee manager, he held positions of increasing responsibility to become the company's youngest store manager. In 1990, Dorrian was appointed area manager of Burton Menswear in the UK. Three years later, he became store development director with British Shoe Corporation. Subsequent to this he joined British Airport Authority, World Duty Free, and held a series of consulting roles prior to joining Global Retail Network.
